Koos is a gentle, curious little boy who was the first to jump over the bench barricade (see video link at bottom of text). Everything must be discovered, but he finds big people a bit scary sometimes. When his foster mom gets small, he comes close cautiously and lets himself be petted briefly. He also gives head pats. Long cuddle sessions are still too much, but with time and patience (and a companion) Koos will thrive. He likes to do his own thing and climbs onto the balcony to the highest point where he then falls asleep contentedly. Koos may need some time to get used to things, but with a companion by his side that will go much faster. That's why he would like to be adopted together with a little brother or sister, or come into a family where another cat is already present. He would also feel safe with mother cat Meis, the two of them seek each other out often. Koos can leave the nest from July 18th, then he will be 10 weeks old. Koos is een zachtaardig, nieuwsgierig katertje dat als eerste over de barricade van de bench sprong (zie link naar filmpje onderaan de tekst). Alles moet ontdekt worden, maar grote mensen vindt hij soms nog wat spannend. Wanneer zijn pleegmama zich klein maakt, komt hij voorzichtig dichterbij en laat hij zich kort aaien. Ook geeft hij kopjes. Lange knuffelsessies zijn nog wat veel, maar met tijd en geduld (en een maatje) bloeit Koos op. Hij doet graag zijn eigen ding en klimt op het balkon naar het hoogste punt, waar hij vervolgens tevreden in slaap valt. Koos zal misschien even tijd nodig hebben om te wennen, maar met een maatje aan zijn zijde gaat dat veel sneller. Daarom zou hij graag samen met een broertje of zijn zusje geadopteerd worden, of in een gezin komen waar al een andere kat aanwezig is. Ook samen met moederpoes Meis zou hij zich veilig voelen, die twee zoeken elkaar veel op. Koos mag het nest verlaten vanaf 18 juli, hij is dan 10 weken oud.
