Hello, my name is Leta! 👋 I’m a sweet and gentle girl looking for a special home to call my own. I may be a little shy when we first meet, but once I start to trust you, you’ll see what a lovely companion I can be. One of my favourite things to do is rub around your legs to say hello, have a little chat with you, and keep a close eye on whatever you’re doing. I’m a very curious girl and like to know what’s going on around me! I can be easily startled by sudden noises or changes, so I’m looking for a patient and understanding family who will give me the time and space I need to settle in at my own pace. Trust is very important to me, and I promise it will be worth the wait. Because I can be sensitive, I’m looking for a home with adults and children aged 16 and over who can understand my body language and recognise when I’d like a little time to myself. I’ll let you know when I’m feeling social and when I’d rather have a quiet moment! I’ve been known to form particularly close bonds with men and can be quite cuddly once I feel comfortable, so a home with a male companion may suit me especially well. That said, I’ve been perfectly happy with all the lovely women who have cared for me at the centre too. I would like to be the only pet in my new home so I can have all the attention to myself. I’ve always been an indoor-only girl, but if you have a secure garden where I can safely explore and potter about, I might enjoy a little outdoor adventure now and then.
