06-08-26 Monty is a super friendly boy who has come into our care from a breeder. He is a happy, playful lad who loves people and is always excited to greet us, and will even jump up to say hello. Monty enjoys plenty of cuddles and affection and has a fun-loving personality that brightens everyone's day. Monty gets on wonderfully with other dogs, so he would be happy to share his home with a canine companion. However, he is confident enough that he could also be happy as the only dog in the home, provided his adopters are around for much of the day to give him the company and attention he enjoys. As Monty has never lived in a home before, he will need to learn all about house training and the other basics of home life. His new family will need to be patient as he settles into his new routine. He is new to lead walking, and would love to continue this in his new home so that he can go on plenty of adventures. Monty is currently learning to wear a harness, and we hope to see him enjoying lead walks soon as he gains confidence and begins exploring his new surroundings. Monty could share his home with older, dog-savvy children aged 13+ who can appreciate and understand that he will need a gentle, quiet introduction to the home and his own space while he settles in. He will need an extra secure garden to ensure he is safe. Monty is a wonderful boy with a big personality and so much love to give. We hope he won't have to wait too long before finding a family to share all of life's adventures with. We have been informed that Monty may have previously undergone a castration procedure. However, during his examination, no reproductive organs could be located. Monty will therefore be rehomed on the understanding that he does not have any reproductive organs, and his adopters will be asked to sign a disclaimer acknowledging this. He has a travel document. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
