Phoenix arrived with severely overgrown teeth which were cutting into his mouth and preventing him from being able to eat properly, He weighed just 50g and was extremely underweight. We rushed him to the vet the same day for an emergency appointment and his teeth were trimmed. He also has an overbite and his teeth are misaligned so will likely need dentals for life meaning vet visits every 5-6 weeks. So for this reason Phoenix will be staying as a sanctuary hamster.
