Quinny is a big cuddly bear and chatterbox who loves to do things with his people. Quinny is about 2.5 years old and stands at 56 cm shoulder height and weighs around 25 kg. So one should be quite sturdy, as he often expresses his love with a lot of enthusiasm. He is very alert and curious. He especially loves to play, best outside and with other dogs – therefore, a garden would be optimal for him. He is open and friendly towards other people and dogs. Quinny is still in puberty and needs to learn to be more patient. The hormone chaos turns the young dogs’ lives upside down. They “forget” a lot of what they have learned and their ears are on high alert. Therefore, it is especially important in this phase to train consistently – but with love. And there is also good news: Just like with us humans, this phase will pass! Quinny does not know children and they are sometimes a bit scary to him. He has not had any contact with cats – he has no prey drive. He loves car rides and has already learned to walk well on a leash. Busy streets still scare him a bit. Since Quinny is still in puberty, of course, he tries to assert his independence – this is expressed, for example, by pulling on the leash, not wanting to be alone, and loud protests. We are looking for a family for Quinny that lives in a rural area and has tolerant neighbors, as Quinny has a very loud voice. Quinny wartet in einer Pflegestelle auf seine Familie. Quinny ist ein großer Kuschelbär und Quatschkopf und liebt es mit seinen Menschen etwas zu unternehmen. Quinny ist ca. 2,5 Jahre und hat eine Schulterhöhe von 56 cm und wiegt in etwa 25 kg. Man sollte also schon standfest sein, da er oft mit Schwung seine Liebe bekundet. Er ist sehr aufgeweckt und neugierig. Spielen mag er besonders gerne, am liebsten draußen und mit anderen Hunden – daher wäre ein Garten für ihn optimal. Er ist aufgeschlossen und freundlich gegenüber anderen Menschen und Hunden. Quinny ist noch in der Pubertät und muss noch lernen geduldiger zu werden. Das Hormonchaos stellt das Leben der jungen Hunde auf den Kopf. Sie “vergessen” oft alles, was sie bisher gelernt haben, und die Ohren schalten auf Durchzug. Daher ist es in dieser Phase besonders wichtig, konsequent – aber liebevoll – zu erziehen. Und es gibt auch eine gute Nachricht: Wie auch bei uns Menschen, geht auch diese Phase vorbei! Kinder kennt er nicht und sie sind ihm teilweise unheimlich. Mit Katzen hatte er bisher noch keinen Kontakt – er hat aber keinen Jagdtrieb. Autofahren liebt er und hat auch schon gelernt, gut an der Leine zu laufen. Stark befahrene Straßen machen ihm aber noch Angst. Da Quinny noch in der Pubertät ist, versucht er natürlich schon mal seinen Kopf durchzusetzen – das äußert sich z. B. mit ziehen an der Leine, nicht alleine bleiben zu wollen und lautstarkem Protest. Wir suchen für Quinny eine Familie, die eher ländlich wohnt und tolerante Nachbar hat, da Quinny eine sehr laute Stimme hat. Quinny ist nicht kastriert, ist gechipt und geimpft und besitzt einen EU-Heimtierausweis und wird nur nach positiver Vorkontrolle gegen eine Schutzgebühr vermittelt.
