To jest Raya, która została znaleziona razem z bratem w wyrzuconym kartonowym pudle. Wydawało się, że los uśmiechnął się do nich, gdy zostali przyjęci w zakładzie betonowym. Dorastali w otoczeniu życzliwych ludzi, ciężarówek i kurzu. Teraz mają rok — to dwie duże, silne psy ważące po 25 kilogramów każdy, całkowicie gotowe na prawdziwe życie. Zostały wysterylizowane, mają mikroczipy, paszporty oraz wszystkie szczepienia. Jednak zakład już nie jest dla nich odpowiednim miejscem. Zajęci ciężką pracą, tamtejsi ludzie coraz mniej czasu mają dla nich, a poza tym Raya i jej brat nie zasługują na życie wśród betonu.
