Socks is a complex little chap but he has bags of potential if he gets the right family behind him. He's a little over a year old but hasn't seen much of the world and is worried by traffic and other dogs. He's very friendly with people but if he's overwhelmed by anything then interaction is the last thing on his mind. When calm, Socks is a very affectionate dog who likes to greet people and he loves chasing after toys, his favourite being squeaky balls. Socks' adopters will need to put in some training with him regarding his reactivity. He was attacked by another dog in the past but it would be nice if he could work towards having a pal or two to accompany him on his walks. Socks needs a home free of other pets as he is very reactive towards other animals, but he can live with children of high school age. He is house trained and has been good when by himself for a few hours.
