We don’t know much about Solar’s background as he was found straying before he came into our care. He is trying his best with his housetraining, but his new family will need to be patient whilst he locks those skills in. Solar isn’t used to spending much time by himself, so he’d love a family where somebody is home most of the time and he can have any time home alone built up nice and slowly. Typical of a sighthound, Solar does have a high prey drive, which will need to be managed carefully around small furries and wildlife. He’s a BIG foodie and absolutely loves a fuss and a snuggle with his humans – we can’t wait to see him cwtched up on the sofa in his forever home! Say hello to Solar, the gorgeous 3 year old Lurcher! Solar is a super friendly boy could live with older primary school children, and could potentially share a home with another calm dog (pending a successful meet here at the centre). He loves meeting new people and will be your best friend in no time if you’ve got a few treats to give him! Solar gets on well with other dogs, though he can be vocal when he first spots a new friend whilst out and about. If another dog’s playstyle is too intense for Solar, he can get a bit overwhelmed and overexcited; we’d recommend doggy friends on the more chilled-out side for this sweet dude!
