Born: in the animal shelter since: 07.05.2023 male, neutered Tristan came to the animal shelter at the beginning of May along with Isolde as stray cats from Mamming. At first, Tristan seemed to be in good general condition. However, we have since discovered that he is unfortunately a carrier of the Calicivirus and his gums and teeth need to be closely monitored. Currently, he is still receiving antibiotics. In the long term, it will be unavoidable for him to regularly visit the vet for a cortisone injection. Here, he shares a room with an outdoor enclosure with other Calici cats. He prefers to be outside. He gets along well with the other cats, though they have a healthy respect for this impressive fellow. However, he has formed a true friendship with Clemens, and we would be delighted if the two could find a shared home. Children in any future home should be older. Update February 2026: Tristan has been waiting for a new home for so long. By now, he also needs his regular cortisone treatment. As he has been waiting for his dream home for so long, he has sought meaningful mental stimulation and taken on the task of educating, caring for, and charming all the other cats. Tristan is a real "Catnizer" and is liked by all the cats.

Geboren: im Tierheim seit: 07.05.2023 männlich , kastriert Tristan kam Anfang Mai zusammen mit Isolde als Fundkatzen aus Mamming ins Tierheim. Tristan schien anfangs in einem guten Allgemeinzustand zu sein. Inzwischen mussten wir aber feststellen, dass er leider Träger des Calicivirus ist und man sein Zahnfleisch und die Zähne engmaschig beobachten muss. Aktuell bekommt er deswegen noch Antibiotika. Auf längere Sicht wird es nicht vermeidbar sein, dass er regelmäßig für eine Cortisoninjektion zum Tierarzt muss. Bei uns bewohnt er zusammen mit anderen Calici-Katern ein Zimmer mit Außengehege. Am liebsten sitzt er auch draußen. Mit den anderen Katern kommt er gut zurecht, nur die Anderen haben gehörigen Respekt vor dem stattlichen Kerl. Mit Clemens hat er jedoch richtig Freundschaft geschlossen und wir würden uns freuen, wenn die beiden ein gemeinsames Zuhause finden. Kinder im künftigen Zuhause sollten schon größer sein. Update Februar 2026: So lange wartet unser Tristan schon auf ein neues Zuhause. Mittlerweile braucht er leider auch seine regelmäßige Cortisongabe. Da er schon so lange bei uns auf sein Traumzuhause wartet, hat er eine sinnvolle Beschäftigung gesucht und es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, die anderen Katzen zu erziehen, sich zu kümmern und alle in seinen Bann zu ziehen.
