November 23, 2018 - Unfortunately, we were not able to eliminate the infection; today Donata was taken back to the clinic to remove the necrotic tissue. The situation is very serious. It is a crush injury with removal of most of the tissues. The small one was in such a condition for too long that it is no longer compatible with life. It should have been rescued immediately. During the surgery, a culture was done to check which bacteria the organism is resistant to. It is on powerful antibiotics but it is difficult to stop the necrosis. It is hospitalized, and just a few hours after the operation, it even ate. This little creature is a rock. It is sad all this, we are doing the impossible. Thank you to those who help with the veterinary costs. November 21, 2018 - Donata continues with the recovery, it is not yet out of danger because the infection was completely widespread. Donata needs a lot of help: food for the gastrointestinal system, both wet and dry, and medicines such as Cefacure and Stomorgyl. November 16, 2018 - Tomorrow morning Donata will be operated on and may some angel protect us. It is a very sweet kitten, how great must have been her pain? Poor soul, how much must she have suffered. The left hind leg is almost completely detached, she stayed all night in the cold, in these conditions, only this morning was she rescued. Immediately subjected to fluid therapy and initial care, the small one will have to undergo amputation of the limb, it has completely broken and exposed bones. First of all we need to get her back on her feet so she can face the operation, then she will be operated on. The trauma is certainly from a hit-and-run. Every day is an emergency for us. We thank anyone who can help us with the veterinary costs. We live only on donations. We called her Donata, she is a very sweet kitten.

23-11-2018 - Purtroppo non siamo riusciti a debellare l'infezione, oggi Donata è stata nuovamente portata in clinica per asportare il tessuto necrotico. La situazione è molto grave. La sua è una lesione da schiacciamento, con asportazione di gran parte di tessuti. La piccola è stata per troppo tempo in una situazione tale da non essere compatibile con la vita. Doveva essere soccorsa immediatamente. Durante l'intervento è stato fatto un tampone antibiogramma per verificare a quale batterio il suo organismo è resistente. E' sotto antibiotici potenti ma è difficile bloccare la necrosi. E' ricoverata in clinica, dopo poche ore dall'intervento ha anche mangiato. E' una roccia questa piccola creatura. E' triste tutto questo, stiamo facendo l'impossibile. Grazie a chi ci aiuta con le spese veterinarie. 21-11-2018 - Donata prosegue con la convalescenza, non è ancora fuori pericolo in quanto l'infezione era totalmente estesa. Donata ha bisogno di tanto aiuto: cibo tipo gastrointestinal, sia umido che secco e farmaci quali Cefacure e Stomorgyl. Grazie a chi ci aiuterà anche a sostenere le spese veterinarie. 19-11-2018 - La piccola oggi è stata operata, l'arto è stato asportato. C'era una infezione estesa, ci auguriamo che tutto proceda bene, è una situazione molto delicata. Dolce bambolina quanto ha sofferto. Grazie a chi ci sosterrà con le spese. 16-11-2018 - Domani mattina Donata verrà operata e che qualche Angelo ci protegga. E' una gattina dolcissima, quanto grande sarà stato il suo dolore? Vi chiediamo di aiutarci con le spese veterinarie, da soli non riusciamo a far fronte a tutto. Grazie da parte di Donata. 15-11-2018 - Ci è stata portata stamani nello stato in cui vedete. Povera anima quanto avrà sofferto. L'arto posteriore sinistro è quasi completamente staccato, è rimasta tutta la notte al freddo, in queste condizioni, solo stamani è stata soccorsa. Subito sottoposta a fluido terapia ed alle prime cure, la piccola dovrà subire l'amputazione dell'arto, ha le ossa completamente rotte ed esposte. Come prima cosa dobbiamo rimetterla in sesto perchè possa affrontare l'intervento, successivamente verrà operata. Il trauma è sicuramente da investimento. Ogni giorno è un'emergenza per noi. Ringraziamo chiunque potrà aiutarci con le spese veterinarie. Viviamo solo di donazioni. L'abbiamo chiamata Donata, è una gattina dolcissima.
