Eddy is a German German Shepherd looking for people who can give him a regulated and stable home. Eddy is hard to describe because he is a very multifaceted dog. He is typically a German Shepherd who is fast, very focused on his people, and loves all things work and mental stimulation. At the same time, he is very quick to develop appetite behaviors and is always searching for the dopamine hit – maybe someone has a ball?! From a type perspective, Eddy is rather relaxed and nervous. He is often more observant and reserved. Eddy has a very serious side and is on the other hand a big softie. He meets all people neutrally to openly and has no problem with strangers. So far, he has learned a lot about being a "dopamine satisfier." He is learning to interact socially away from conditioned behavior here piece by piece and is already becoming softer. At the same time, he has learned that aggressive behavior is goal-oriented and can become especially angry, especially when manipulated or restricted. Eddy bit his Frauchen on his previous placement and must at least be secured with a muzzle while he learns to handle emotions without getting angry. In contact with other dogs, Eddy is still extremely inexperienced and very idealess. However, there is general interest, and coexistence can be excellent. In our dog group, Eddy is now learning how to communicate with others beautifully and is very quick to learn! Eddy needs people with whom he can become softer again. People who can give him guidance, know what they are doing, and have a fair and gentle view of Eddy are needed. He needs to learn that social interaction is something to rely on and that the people here are there for him. Eddy ist ein deutscher Schäferhund, der Menschen sucht, die ihm ein geregeltes und stabiles Zuhause schenken können. Eddy ist schwierig zu beschreiben, denn er ist ein sehr facettenreicher Hund. Er ist typisch Schäferhund der schnell, sehr auf seinen Menschen fokussiert ist und liebt alles an Arbeit und Beschäftigung. Gleichzeitig ist er sehr schnell im Appetenzverhalten und sucht nach dem Dopaminkick – vllt hat ja jemand einen Ball?! Vom Typ her ist Eddy recht entspannt und nervenstark. Er ist schnell mal eher beobachtend und zurückhaltend. Eddy hat eine sehr ernsthafte Seite und ist auf der anderen Seite ein großer Softie. Er begegnet allen Menschen erstmal neutral bis offen und hat auch mit fremden Menschen kein Problem. Bislang hat er Menschen ganz viel als „Dopaminbefriediger“ kennen gelernt. Er lernt das soziale Miteinander fernab von konditioniertem Verhalten hier Stück für Stück und wird da schon jetzt immer weicher. Gleichzeitig hat er gelernt das Aggressionsverhalten zielführend ist und wird insbesondere bei Manipulation und Einschränkungen schnell wütend. Eddy hat auf seinem vorherigen Platz sein Frauchen gebissen und muss zumindest während er lernt dass man Emotionen aushalten kann ohne sauer zu werden auch viel mit Maulkorb gesichert werden. Im Kontakt mit anderen Hunden ist Eddy noch extrem unerfahren und sehr Ideenlos. Grundsätzlich ist aber Interesse da und Koexistenz kann er auch schon super. In unserer Hundegruppe lernt Eddy jetzt nach und nach wie man mit anderen schön kommuniziert und zeigt sich da sehr schnell lernend! Eddy braucht Menschen, mit denen er wieder weicher werden kann. Menschen, die ihm Anleitung geben, wissen was sie machen und gleichzeitig einen fairen und weichen Blick auf Eddy haben. Er muss lernen, dass es das soziale Miteinander ist, auf das man sich stützen kann und dass die Menschen hier für ihn da sind.
