We present Gentiane and her story: "Gentiane is a small dog, estimated to be between 5 and 6 years old, who was found wandering by a lady in the village where she works. After going to see her and talking to her, the dog finally jumped into her car. Taken to the veterinarian, it was noted that she was not microchipped. Her claws being very long, they were trimmed. The lady gave her a good bath, which was much needed, and alerted the surrounding town halls and posted her on Pet Alert 60, 62, 59, 80, without success. Gentiane slept for two days, exhausted. Having already three dogs, and not being able to keep her, the lady contacted us to ask if we could take her in. Gentiane is okay with dogs, cats, and chickens. In reality, she is rather indifferent to other animals and lives her life. She needs to lose some weight but is also very muscular. She easily jumps onto a chair." Marion kindly offered to go fetch her and will keep her in foster care until the AG, or Poupounette will take over as foster family unless she is reserved before then. Gentiane will be seen by the veterinarian very soon, vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. Here are the first photos taken by Aunt Marion, whom I thank for her hospitality.

Nous vous présentons Gentiane et son histoire : "Gentiane est une petite chienne, estimée entre 5 et 6 ans, qui a été trouvée errante par une dame dans le village où elle travaille. A force d'aller la voir et de lui parler, la chienne a fini par sauter dans sa voiture. Conduite chez le vétérinaire, il a été constaté qu'elle n'était pas identifiée. Ses griffes étant très longues, elles ont été coupées. La dame lui a fait prendre un bon bain, bien nécessaire, et a prévenu les mairies alentour et l'a signalée sur Pet Alert 60,62,59,80, sans succès. Gentiane a dormi pendant deux jours, épuisée. Ayant déjà trois chiens, et ne pouvant la garder, la dame nous a contacté pour nous demander si nous pouvions la prendre en charge. Gentiane est ok chiens, chats et poules. En réalité, elle est plutôt indifférente aux autres animaux et vit sa vie. Elle a besoin de perdre du poids mais est aussi très musclée. Elle saute sur une chaise aisément." Marion a très gentiment proposé d'aller la chercher et elle va la garder en accueil jusqu'à l'A.G ou ce sera Poupounette qui prendra le relais comme famille d'accueil à moins qu'elle soit réservée d'ici là. Gentiane va très vite être vu par le vétérinaire, vaccinée, identifiée et stérilisée. Voici les premières photos prise par Tatie Marion que je remercie pour son accueil.
