BackgroundThis young girl is Nala. Nala is a Mechelse shepherd female, born in October 2023. She is still very young. Very young, and just unlucky in life… Nala was taken into a home at far too young an age. Soon after, she was sent to a kennel because people had no time for her… We hope to find a home for her where she will be gladly welcomed, and where people have the patience to build a beautiful bond with her!CharacterIn the first days, Nala was very shy in our animal shelter. She is quite wary and cautious towards new people. Once she gets to know you, she becomes more and more enthusiastic every day and really wants your attention. Furthermore, she really wants to be active. Therefore, it's also important that she finds experienced people who want to walk, exercise, track, etc. Work! We are now gradually training her so that she learns that there are also pauses and rest periods involved.PlacementFor Nala we are looking for a home where it's not too busy and where people can invest a lot of time in her. So that they can be active together, and she can also find her rest afterwards! A well-fenced garden is certainly necessary. A home with children does not seem ideal. Children from the age of 16 years can certainly come to meet her. A match with a large, stable male dog is not ruled out.

AchtergrondDeze jong meid is Nala. Nala is een Mechelse herder teefje, geboren in oktober 2023. Ze is dus nog jong. Enkel maar pech in het leven… Nala werd op veel te jonge leeftijd in huis gehaald. Daarna werd ze al snel naar buiten verbannen omdat men geen tijd voor haar had… We hopen nu een thuis voor haar te vinden waar men haar graag zal zien, en het geduld heeft een mooie band met haar op te bouwen!KarakterDe eerste dagen was Nala erg timide in ons asiel. Ze is vrij argwanend en voorzichtig naar nieuwe mensen. Als ze je beter kent, wordt ze elke dag enthousiaster en wil ze echt aandacht van je. Ze knuffelt graag met haar mensen wanneer ze in staat van rust verkeert. Verder wil ze graag echt actief bezig zijn. Daarom is het ook belangrijk dat ze ervaren mensen vindt die veel willen wandelen, sporten, speuren,… Werken! Spelen met de bal doet ze ook heel graag. Ze gaat er zo in op dat ze zichzelf er wat in verliest maar dit is wel al verbeterd. We trainen dit nu stapsgewijs met haar, dat ze leert dat hier ook pauzemomenten en rust bij horen. PlaatsingVoor Nala zoeken we een thuis waar het niet te druk is en waar men veel tijd in haar kan investeren. Om zo samen actief bezig te zijn, zodat ze daarnaast haar rust kan vinden! Een thuis waar ze alle aandacht voor zich heeft.Ze wordt niet geplaatst bij kinderen of andere dieren. Een goed en hoog omheinde tuin is zeker noodzakelijk. Dit waar men ook een goed uitgeruste buitenruimte heeft met een degelijke ren.
