Gaba is a gentle and curious little dog. She arrived at our shelter in a very neglected condition. Clearly, no one had paid much attention to her—neither from a health nor social standpoint. She’s quite elderly now, and her joints ache. We’ve started treatment to improve her comfort when walking. Despite this, her walks are short, with frequent breaks for rest. She needs support for her hind legs. Although she has signs of degenerative changes, she’s eager to go outside. She strolls slowly, constantly looking back at her buddy from the kennel—Luzak. The two dogs have grown fond of each other and happily share their living space. Gaba also enjoys human company. She greets every person she meets, carefully sniffing them and gently pressing her wet nose into your hand as a friendly greeting. She loves having picnics on the grass—best of all, cuddled up close—and she loves to snuggle. She’s starved for human connection. She really needs a home, the best possible care, and a loving relationship. Will we manage to find her a forever home for the end of her life?

Gaba to łagodna i ciekawa świata sunia. Przyjechała do nas bardzo zaniedbana. Z pewnością nikt nie poświęcał jej zbyt wiele uwagi ani zdrowotnie, ani towarzysko. Ma już swoje lata i kostki bolą. Leczenie zostało wdrożone, żeby poprawić jej komfort chodzenia. Mimo to, spacery są krótkie z częstymi przerwami na odpoczynek. Potrzebuje wsparcia tylnych łap. Choć ma zmiany zwyrodnieniowe, chętnie wychodzi na dwór. Wędruje powolutku i nieustannie ogląda się na swojego kumpla z boksu - Luzaka. Psiaki się polubiły i zgodnie razem mieszkają. Gaba gustuje również w towarzystwie ludzi. Wita się z każdym napotkanym człowiekiem, uważnie wącha i wkłada mokry nosek w dłoń na powitanie. Chętnie piknikuje na trawie, najlepiej w objęciach 🙂, lubi się tulić. Jest spragniona kontaktów. Bardzo potrzebuje domu, najlepszej opieki i relacji. Czy uda się znaleźć jej dom na końcówkę życia?
