Meet this very handsome 9-year-old Red Fox Labrador, who is now looking for a loving new home. He has recently come into our care following a change in his family’s circumstances and is hoping to find someone who can offer him a quiet, loving home where he can enjoy his retirement years. He has been neutered and is a lovely, gentle boy who can be a little shy at first. Once he gets to know you, however, he is very affectionate and loves being around people. He has lived with children aged 11 years and over and has been good around other dogs. We don’t currently know how he would be with cats, so we would be looking for a cat free home. We also don’t have any information about how he reacts to fireworks. He is good on the lead, although he can become a little strong when he gets excited — something that can be worked on with patience and consistency. At 9 years old, he may be a little more settled than a younger dog, but he still has plenty of love and companionship to give. He would love to find a patient and understanding family who will give him the time he needs to build his confidence and settle into his new surroundings.
