Fenit came to us with a dirty coat. She probably lived on the streets for some time and had kittens during that period. Despite everything she has been through, she is an incredibly sweet and affectionate cat. At first, Fenit found the shelter quite exciting. She looked for a safe spot up in the scratching post and kept her eyes open. But with a few tasty treats, trust was quickly gained. Fenit loves cuddling and clearly enjoys attention. She remains a bit cautious though. An unexpected movement can make her jump, causing her to run away for a moment. Fortunately, this never lasts long: she soon returns to give head rubs and continue cuddling. Because Fenit has lived outside for some time, we think she will feel happiest in a quiet, loving home where she can also safely go outside. A garden would be a big plus for her. Fenit kwam bij ons binnen met een vuile vacht. Waarschijnlijk heeft ze een tijd op straat geleefd en in die periode ook kittens gehad. Ondanks alles wat ze heeft meegemaakt, is ze een ontzettend lieve en aanhankelijke poes. In het begin vond Fenit de opvang best spannend. Ze zocht een veilig plekje boven in de krabpaal en keek de kat uit de boom. Maar met een paar lekkere brokjes was het vertrouwen al snel gewonnen. Fenit is dol op knuffelen en geniet zichtbaar van aandacht. Ze blijft daarbij wel een beetje voorzichtig. Een onverwachte beweging kan haar laten schrikken, waardoor ze even wegloopt. Gelukkig duurt dat nooit lang: al snel komt ze weer terug om kopjes te geven en om verder te knuffelen. Omdat Fenit een tijd buiten heeft geleefd, denken we dat ze zich het gelukkigst zal voelen in een rustig, liefdevol thuis waar ze ook veilig naar buiten kan.
