Location: Romania—Armani, his siblings, and their mother Bety... no longer wanted by the owner. That’s how Armani, just a few weeks old, came to our animal protector. Armani lives in a small pack and is also familiar with cats. At the shelter, he shows himself to be a friendly, open-minded young dog. But now it’s slowly time for Armani to experience life in a home environment as well. The assessments of the dogs refer to their current, familiar living situation—meaning they’re evaluated in their usual surroundings, with familiar caregivers and within their existing pack. We can’t predict—or can only partially predict—how a dog will behave in the future, especially after moving to a new home. Each animal is an individual; it will change and continue to develop. From the age of 8 months onward, a rapid test for the four most regionally significant parasitic diseases is performed; dogs are typically neutered starting at the age of 10 months.

Aufenthaltsort: Rumänien Armani, seine Geschwister und seine Mutter Bety…. vom Besitzer nicht mehr gewollt. So kam Armani als erst einige Wochen alter Welpe zu unserer Tierschützerin. Armani lebt in einem kleinen Rudel, er kennt auch Katzen. Im Shelter zeigt er sich als freundlicher, aufgeschlossener Junghund. Nun wird es aber langsam Zeit, dass Armani auch das Leben in einem Zuhause kennenlernt. Die Einschätzungen der Hunde beziehen sich auf den aktuellen, gewohnten Aufenthaltsort, also im gewohnten Umfeld mit bekannten Betreuern, im vorhandenem Rudel. Wie ein Hund sich in der Zukunft, vor allem nach einem Umzug in ein neues Zuhause zeigen wird, können wir nicht bzw nur bedingt voraussagen. Jedes Tier ist ein Individuum, wird sich verändern und weiterentwickeln. Ab dem Alter von 8 Monaten wird ein Schnelltest auf die 4 regional wichtigsten Parasitosen durchgeführt, kastriert sind die Hunde i.d.R ab dem Alter von 10 Monaten.
