Asher (male, neutered) 🎂 Birthday: ca. 2023 📌 Location: Cyprus, in a shelter 🏡 Conditions: no unsecured outdoor access, no solitary housing Hi, I'm Asher! I had a home once, but I was abandoned by a cat colony in a cowardly manner. I was noticed by animal protectors because I was so affectionate and let myself be cuddled. They thought I was too loving to struggle on the street. My great love is people. I run after them to grab a few caresses. Unfortunately, there is little time for this in the shelter, so I am now looking for my own home. If you are looking for a cat companion who likes to cuddle (I only like to be lifted up, that scares me), then get in touch with the Heroes for Cyprus Cats! My journey to you will be chipped, vaccinated, tested for FiV/FelV and will have an EU pet passport. ----------------------------------------------------------- Who are the heroes behind Heroes for Cyprus Cats We from Heroes for Cyprus Cats are a dedicated team of animal protectors from Cyprus, Germany, Austria and Switzerland, who are committed to the welfare of the street cats in Cyprus. Our goal is to improve the lives of these cats sustainably. Our local team in Cyprus feeds, neuters and cares for sick or injured cats on the streets and in the cat colonies. If necessary, we bring them to foster families, where they wait in a safe environment for their family. In addition, we maintain a strong online presence, process inquiries from adopters and provide support at the airport. Street cats in Cyprus suffer a lot and are often victims of car accidents or cruel mistreatment. Many simply starve or die from diseases that are not treated. We save them from this sad fate and work tirelessly to find a loving, safe home for our rescued cats. We attach great importance to a collegial, transparent and respectful relationship within our team and to potential adopters. For us, adopting a cat is just the beginning. We are committed to supporting our rescued cats and their new families for a lifetime. Together we make a difference, for every single cat.
