Baxter would suit a calm family who can take him for nice long walks and be around for most of the day to help settle him in. He has never lived with another dog so , for now, would prefer to be the only dog in the home but he would benefit from dog friends to socialise with. Baxter can live with sensible children of secondary school age. Baxter is a 2 year 8 month old Collie cross Lurcher. He is looking for a calm home who like going for adventures and exploring the outdoors. He will need somebody around most of the time initially but is fine being left for short periods once settled. Baxter is crate trained, walks nicely on lead and is fully house trained. He ignores livestock when out and about and jumps straight in to the car to go for a walk. He is very friendly with people and dogs but has not lived with one before. Baxter has settled beautifully into life in foster and has had nothing but praise from his foster carer.
