Widget is a 5½-year-old dog with so much love to give. He is affectionate, playful and happiest when spending time with his people, enjoying gentle interaction, fun games and enrichment.Widget finds the outside world overwhelming, so he is looking for a calm, quiet home where he can feel safe and secure. He does not need a busy lifestyle filled with beaches, cafés or lots of outings—instead, he would be perfectly content enjoying his garden, playing with his family and relaxing at home.Widget’s ideal home would be adult-only, with no other animals and no visiting young children. He would suit someone who is retired or works from home and has plenty of time to spend with him. A quiet area with very few dogs nearby—and no dogs immediately surrounding the garden—would be perfect.He will need a secure garden with fencing at least 5 feet high, along with patient, kind and encouraging adopters who will allow him to progress at his own pace. His new family should enjoy playing with him and providing plenty of mental enrichment in the comfort of his home and garden.Widget may not be the dog who joins you on busy days out, but he could be the perfect companion for someone who values the quieter things in life.
