Hi, I'm Blizzard, I'm a Red and White tomcat with an estimated birth date of 24-9-2026. I was found as a stray and unfortunately no one has come forward for me. I am now neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and desexed, and am now ready for adoption. Unfortunately, it has been found that I am FIV-positive. This is the same as HIV in humans, the precursor to AIDS. This does not mean that I will definitely get AIDS. I am just a bit more susceptible to infections because my immunity is lower. But with the right care, I can still live a long life. It is not contagious to humans or other animals, only to cats. Therefore, I cannot be placed with healthy cats and I also cannot roam the streets anymore. I am a very affectionate tomcat and love cuddles and personal attention. I find children okay, as long as they are calm and can give me the necessary cuddles and pats. I cannot live with other cats, moreover, I do everything to keep anything with more than two legs as far away from my territory as possible! Hoi ik ben Blizzard, Ik ben een Rood/Witte kater met een geschatte geboortedatum van 24-9-2020. Ik ben gevonden als zwerver en helaas heeft niemand zich gemeld voor mij. Inmiddels ben ik gecastreerd, gechipt, gevaccineerd, ontwormd, ontvlooid en nu dus klaar voor adoptie. Helaas is gebleken dat ik FIV-positief ben. Dit is hetzelfde als Hiv bij mensen, het voorstadium van aids. Dit hoeft niet te betekenen dat ik ook echt aids krijg. Ik ben hierdoor alleen wat gevoeliger voor infecties omdat mijn weerstand lager is. Maar met de juiste verzorging kan ik nog best oud worden. Het is niet besmettelijk voor mensen of andere dieren, alleen voor katten. Daarom mag ik niet bij gezonde katten geplaatst worden en mag ik ook niet meer vrij rondlopen op straat. Ik ben een erg aanhankelijke kater en houdt van knuffels en persoonlijke aandacht. Kinderen vind ik oke, zolang ze rustig zijn en mij de benodigde knuffels en aaitjes kunnen geven. Ik kan niet met andere katten samen leven, sterker nog, ik doe er alles aan om alles wat meer dan 2 benen heeft zo ver mogelijk uit mijn territorium te houden! Ik zoek echt een huisje voor mezelf, zonder andere dieren, zodat ik lekker alle aandacht kan opeisen :) Heb je interesse in mij? Mail dan naar tav. Blizzard
