The BULET arrived at our shelter in September 2025. Up until then, it lived confined in a small cage where it barely had room to move and was rarely let out. Its life had been marked by isolation, neglect, and negative experiences with people. When it arrived at the Shelter, the BULET did not trust anyone. It growled at anyone who approached and, for weeks, no one had the courage to enter its dog shelter. It was even necessary to sedate it to bring it to the shelter, given the fear and stress it felt. But time, patience, and respect made a difference. Slowly but surely, the BULET began to relax. It stopped growling constantly, started wagging its tail, and began to accept the presence of people. Today, we see a completely different dog from the one that arrived with us. It is a gentle dog that appreciates attention, loves head scratches, and is absolutely crazy about food. Just a few pieces of chicken are enough to win its friendship immediately! The transformation of the BULET surprised us all. We never expected it to become such a friendly dog. We continue to respect its limits and its past, but the truth is that it has never bitten anyone. When it felt insecure, all it did was growl. Today, it rarely does. One of the biggest surprises was discovering how social it is with other dogs. It gets along well with males and, with females, plays like a teenager. It also does well on a leash and enjoys exploring the world around it. The BULET is proof that, when we give time, patience, and understanding to an animal, it can show us a side that no one ever imagined existed. It will be delivered vaccinated, dewormed, neutered, and microchipped.

O Bulet chegou ao abrigo em setembro de 2025. Até então, vivia fechado numa pequena jaula onde mal se conseguia mexer e raramente era deixado sair. A sua vida tinha sido marcada pelo isolamento, pela falta de cuidados e por experiências negativas com as pessoas. Quando chegou ao Cantinho, o Bulet não confiava em ninguém. Rosnava a quem se aproximava e, durante semanas, ninguém teve coragem de entrar no seu canil. Para o trazer para o abrigo foi mesmo necessário sedá-lo, tal era o medo e o stress que sentia. Mas o tempo, a paciência e o respeito fizeram a diferença. Pouco a pouco, o Bulet começou a relaxar. Deixou de rosnar constantemente, começou a abanar a cauda e a aceitar a presença das pessoas. Hoje vemos um cão completamente diferente daquele que chegou até nós. É um cão gentil que aprecia atenção, adora festas na cabeça e é absolutamente louco por comida. Bastam alguns pedacinhos de frango para conquistar imediatamente a sua amizade! A transformação do Bulet surpreendeu-nos a todos. Nunca esperávamos que se tornasse um cão tão amigável. Continuamos a respeitar os seus limites e o seu passado, mas a verdade é que nunca mordeu ninguém. Quando se sentia inseguro, tudo o que fazia era rosnar. Hoje, raramente o faz. Uma das maiores surpresas foi descobrir o quão sociável é com outros cães. Dá-se muito bem com machos e, com as fêmeas, brinca como um adolescente. Também anda bem à trela e gosta de explorar o mundo à sua volta. O Bulet é a prova de que, quando damos tempo, paciência e compreensão a um animal, ele pode mostrar-nos um lado que ninguém imaginava existir. Será entregue vacinado, desparasitado, esterilizado e com microchip.
