Candy is a beautiful 3 year old little girl who has been living with her mum, sister and another female with her owner who is also her breeder who we are working very closely with to try and find Candy a lovely new home where she can be an only dog. After the birth of her only litter Candy showed signs of maternal aggression toward one of the females that she is living with, which her breeder hoped would go away when the puppies left and then after Candy’s next season. But sadly instead of improving things have been getting worse towards the one very subservient female causing distress to both dogs and the family, so her owner has had to make this heart-breaking decision to find her a new home. Candy is a very devoted girl to her people, she loves spending time with them either gardening, walking or cuddling on the sofa. She is desperate to please and is always looking for reassurance. When she gets excited she can whine, especially when her lead comes out or she’s waiting for her dinner. Out on walks Candy can bark at strangers but then after having a sniff will happily walk away. She can also look dominant towards some other dogs on walks, by barking at them. She has a very good recall to her name, to a whistle and to “here” she is a good girl and always keeps a very close eye on her owner.
