His story: Black-and-white Bearlet Constantin 💘 The (still) small charming Constantin with the big name is part of the 9-member C-Razzle Band (C as in Constantin, Cilia, Cassy, Cathleen, Cher, Cameron, Carlo, Camillo, and Calvin), rescued by our animal welfare workers in the vicinity of Zalau. Our team received an emergency call that the female dog of an alcoholic has given birth again. The owner unfortunately did not take care of the female dog with her offspring and disposed of the puppies from previous litters. Before these 9 puppies also faced a terrible fate, they, including their mother Cassiopeia, were rescued by our team and brought to safety in a private shelter in Zalau. Even a private Romanian shelter, despite protection from the dangers of the outside world, is not an appropriate place for growing puppies. Our team on the ground is doing everything possible, but an outdoor run is unfortunately not isolatable, and the sub-zero temperatures are particularly hard on the puppies with their delicate bodies. We therefore hope that Constantin and his 8 siblings can move into a warm home before winter sets in. Constantin is one of the 5 male puppies in this litter and is, like his sister Cilia, fluffy like a little bear. His soft white fur is interrupted by a few black spots and the black-and-white mask on his adorable face makes his dark sparkling eyes shine. The small, around 3-month-old boy currently weighs around 3-4 kg and is expected to grow into a medium-sized male dog. His mother Cassiopeia has a shoulder height of around 45 cm, and we expect Constantin to reach this size as well. Clever Constantin shows typical playful puppy behavior, is sweet as sugar, and loves interacting with people. His activity level is currently not too high, but we imagine that he will grow more active in a safe and loving home. He gets along well with other dogs here in the shelter. Constantin has not yet met any cats in the shelter. For the little heartthrob Constantin, we are looking for a family with a lot of patience and understanding for a young puppy who still has a lot to learn. His heart's people know that a little whirlwind will turn their daily lives upside down and are ready to teach Constantin the puppy ABC and other learning goals, such as house training, house rules, leash manners, and more. Step by step, without pressure. Maybe you have already looked into positively working dog training classes that can support you during the adjustment and further education of Constantin. Once you have gotten to know each other better and achieved some initial successes, puberty will knock on the door and turn everything upside down. Hormonally driven, Constantin will become a typical teenager overnight and test the limits. Everything previously learned will be questioned, and the ears will be put to the test. This phase, which usually occurs between the 7th and 18th month of life, requires once again perseverance, consistency, and a lot of humor. At the end of the puberty tunnel, however, the sun will shine, and you will embark on a discovery journey of your shared rituals and activities. Whether it's dog sports, scavenger hunts, long walks and hikes, or cuddle moments on the sofa, there is so much to discover and experience together. Seine Geschichte: Schwarz-weißes Bärchen Constantin 💘 Der (noch) kleine bezaubernde Constantin mit dem großen Namen ist Teil der 9-köpfigen C-Rasselbande (C wie Constantin, Cilia, Cassy, Cathleen, Cher, Cameron, Carlo, Camillo und Calvin), die von unseren Tierschützer*innen in der Nähe von Zalau gerettet wurden. Unser Team erreichte ein Hilferuf, dass die Hündin eines Alkoholikers wieder Welpen hat. Der Besitzer kümmerte sich leider nicht um die Hündin mit ihrem Nachwuchs und hat die Welpen voriger Würfe „entsorgt“. Bevor auch diesen 9 Welpen ein schreckliches Schicksal widerfahren würde, konnten sie, inklusive der Mama Cassiopeia von unserem Team gerettet und im privaten Shelter von Zalau in Sicherheit gebracht werden. Auch ein privates rumänisches Shelter ist trotz Schutz vor den Gefahren der Außenwelt, kein geeigneter Platz für aufwachsende Welpen. Unser Team vor Ort tut alles Mögliche, aber ein Außenzwinger ist leider nicht zu isolieren und die Minusgrade setzen vor allem den Welpen mit ihren zarten Körpern sehr zu. Wir hoffen daher, dass Constantin und seine 8 Geschwister vor Einbruch des Winters in ein warmes Zuhause umziehen dürfen. Constantin ist einer der 5 Rüden in diesem Wurf und ist, wie seine Schwester Cilia flauschig wie ein kleiner Bär. Sein weiches weißes Fell wird von ein paar schwarzen Flecken unterbrochen und die schwarz-weiße Maske in seinem entzückenden Gesicht lässt seine dunklen Glanzaugen blitzen. Der kleine, ca. 3 Monate alte Bursche wiegt derzeit um die 3-4 kg und wird vermutlich zu einem mittelgroßen Rüden aufwachsen. Seine Mama Cassiopeia hat eine Schulterhöhe von ca. 45 cm und wir erwarten, dass auch Constantin diese Größe erreichen wird. Frechdachs Constantin zeigt typisches verspieltes Welpenverhalten, ist zuckersüß und liebt den Umgang mit Menschen. Sein Aktivitätsniveau ist derzeit noch nicht allzu hoch, wobei wir uns vorstellen können, dass er in einem sicheren und liebevollen Zuhause einen Gang zulegen wird. Mit anderen Hunden kommt er hier im Shelter prima aus. Katzen hat Constantin im Shelter noch nicht kennengelernt. Für den Herzbuben Constantin suchen wir eine Familie mit viel Geduld und Verständnis für einen jungen Hundebuben, der noch alles lernen muss. Seine Herzensmenschen wissen, dass ein kleiner Wirbelwind den Alltag erstmal auf den Kopf stellen wird und sind bereit, dem kleinen Strolch das Welpen ABC und weitere Lernziele, wie z.B. Stubenreinheit, Hausregeln, Leinenführigkeit und mehr beizubringen. Schritt für Schritt und ohne Erwartungsdruck. Vielleicht habt ihr euch im Vorfeld bereits nach einer positiv arbeitenden Hundeschule umgesehen, die euch in der Eingewöhnungsphase und der weiteren Erziehung von Constantin unterstützend zur Seite stehen kann. Kaum habt ihr euch besser kennengelernt und die ersten Erfolge erzielt, klopft die Pubertät an und wirbelt alles wieder auf. Hormongesteuert wird Constantin über Nacht zum typischen Teenager und testet seine Grenzen aus. Alles bisher Erlernte wird in Frage und die Ohren auf Durchzug gestellt. Diese Phase, die meist zwischen dem 7. und 18. Lebensmonat ihr Unwesen treibt, erfordert noch einmal Durchhaltevermögen, Konsequenz und viel Humor. Am Ende des Pubertäts-Tunnels scheint jedoch die Sonne und erwartet euch eine Entdeckungsreise zu euren gemeinsamen Ritualen und Aktivitäten. Sei es Hundesport, Fährtensuche, lange Spaziergänge und Wanderungen oder Kuschelmomente auf dem Sofa. Es gibt so viel zu entdecken und gemeinsam zu erleben. Constantin ist bereit für seine glückliche Zukunft und hat seine sieben Sachen gepackt. Hat der kleine Constantin dich bezirzt und magst du ihm beim Aufwachsen und Genießen zur Seite stehen? Er bringt seinen eigenen EU-Heimtierausweis mit und kann nach positiver Vorkontrolle und gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 500 Euro bei seinen Herzensmenschen einziehen.
