She is small and frail; we must get her back to health before anything else. Esme is good, she allows everything to be done to her and never complains, despite her terrible condition. Click on the photos to enlarge them! 31-10-2017 - The little one has serious problems with her hind limb, her little leg is out of place, undoubtedly due to a trauma. She is very sweet, a real doll. Same look, same position, same story. We will do everything to care for her. At the moment we cannot do an X-ray because this must be done under sedation, we will wait a few days so that she can recover a bit. Thank you to those who will help us with Esme. Click on the photos to enlarge them! 30-10-2017 - When I took her in my arms it seemed like I was holding Esmeralda. Same as her, small as her, malformed as Esmeralda... I cannot explain what I felt, an indescribable sensation. It seems as if something had squeezed her pelvis, separating the bones and deforming her. That swollen belly just like she had. She was found abandoned in the middle of nowhere in the countryside, it was a chance but now the little one is with us. We will present her better tomorrow. She is a little heart and we already know that we have a long way to go to reach the goal. We called her Esme.

09-11-2017 - Intanto i giorni passano, lei piano piano si mette in forze e presto la porteremo in clinica per le lastre. Grazie a tutti per i tanti messaggi che la piccola sta ricevendo. Appena avremo novità sarà nostra cura aggiornarvi. 03-11-2017 - La piccolina mangia e cresce in attesa di poter essere sottoposta agli esami diagnostici. E' piccina e gracile, dobbiamo rimetterla in sesto prima di qualsiasi altra cosa. Esme è brava, si fa fare tutto e non si lamenta mai, nonostante le sue terribili condizioni. Clicca sulle foto per ingrandirle! 31-10-2017 - La piccolina ha gravi problemi all'arto posteriore, la zampetta è fuori dalla sua sede, sicuramente dovuto ad un trauma. E' dolcissima, una vera bambolina. Stesso sguardo, stessa posizione, stessa storia. Faremo di tutto per curarla. Al momento non possiamo fare una radiografia in quanto quest'ultima deve essere fatta in sedazione, aspetteremo qualche giorno affinché possa riprendersi un po'. Grazie a chi ci aiuterà per Esme. Clicca sulle foto per ingrandirle! 30-10-2017 - Quando l'ho presa fra le braccia mi è sembrato di stringere Esmeralda. Uguale a lei, piccola come lei, malformata come Esmeralda ... non riesco a spiegare cosa ho provato, una sensazione indescrivibile. Sembra che qualcosa le abbia stretto il bacino, staccando le ossa e deformandola. Quella pancina gonfia proprio come aveva lei. E' stata trovata abbandonata in mezzo al nulla in campagna, è stato un caso ma ora la piccola è da noi. Ve la presenteremo meglio domani. E' un piccolo cuoricino e sappiamo già che avremo tanta strada da fare per raggiungere il traguardo. L'abbiamo chiamata Esme.
