Finley Wales Adoption fee is £350 6 years old Standard dachshund Red, smooth coat Not neutered Finley is a very loving and loyal boy who loves nothing more than a lie in and a fuss with his human. He is looking for a new home due to a change of circumstances which means he is being left alone for too long. Finley is a sensitive boy who will benefit from a calm and relaxed home. He is friendly and affectionate but struggles to be on his own and will bark and in the past has destroyed a few pillows. His new family will need to be prepared to work with him so he can learn that time apart is OK and we will provide behaviourist support if necessary. Outside the home, Finely walks on lead and although he enjoys walks he is shy around people and other dogs until he gets to know them. Finley is looking for a calm environment with a family that is home the majority of the time. He currently lives with another dog but the other dog is now unwell and this has resulted in some protective behaviours from Finley which have resulted in him needing to be separated from him. He could potentially live with another calm dog, subject to a successful meet. Finely is in good health, although anxious at the vets. He barks in the car, although will settle after a period of time. This boy has loads of love and cuddles to give to his forever family. He is an intelligent dog who is looking for someone who can provide the loving environment and training that he needs to live his best life.
