FONTINA arrived following a trapping operation at a feral cat colony site. She has likely had very little contact with humans. Extremely shy, she’ll need patience, gentleness, and understanding to gradually adjust and thrive. She may never become a cat who likes to curl up on your lap, but it’s up to you to build a beautiful relationship of trust and forge a unique bond. As a carrier of FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus, or “cat AIDS”), she must live indoors, isolated from other cats—unless those other cats are also FIV carriers.

FONTINA est arrivée suite à un trappage sur un site de prolifération. Elle n'a vraisemblablement que peu connu l'humain. Très timide, elle aura besoin de patience, de douceur, de compréhension pour doucement évoluer. Elle ne sera peut être jamais un chat qui dort sur vos genoux, mais à vous de créer une belle relation de confiance et un lien unique. Porteuse du FIV (sida du chat), elle devra vivre en intérieur, sans autres chats (sauf ci ceux-ci sont porteurs FIV).
