Name: Franz Age: 6-7 months. Gender: male, neutered Available for sponsorship! Franz, a stray kitten, was rescued in winter with a prolapsed intestine. The intestine hung out over 20 centimeters and for several days. Persistent diarrhea had likely caused it. When we finally caught Franz, we didn't know what the right solution was. But we couldn't bear to euthanize the young man after he had suffered and fought so much. So, Franz underwent surgery, the intestine was fixed, hoping it would hold. It did. Franz spent a long time in the hospital; initially, he couldn't control his feces. But that also got better. Now, Franz can use the litter box normally again. He is very shy and mistrustful, clearly after everything he has been through. But that is also getting better. Now he is looking for his family; this stray kitten, who fought so hard, and for whom we fought so hard, is now looking for someone to show him and us that it was worth it. With lots of patience, without pressure, just loving him and taking care of him. Franz really wants to move into his new home with other kittens or with a cat from his group. Name: FranzAlter: 6-7 Monate. Geschlecht: männlich, kastriert Patenschaft zu vergeben! Franz, ein Streunerbaby, wurde im Winter mit ausgestülptem Darm gerettet. Der Darm hing über 20 Zentimeter heraus und das über mehrere Tage. Anhaltender Durchfall hatte wohl dazu geführt. Als wir Franz endlich fingen, wussten wir nicht, was die richtige Lösung sei. Doch wir brachten es nicht übers Herz den jungen Mann zu erlösen, nachdem er so gelitten und gekämpft hatte. Also wurde Franz operiert, der Darm fixiert, in der Hoffnung, dass er hält. Er hat gehalten. Franz verbrachte lange Zeit in der Krankenstation, er konnte anfangs den Kot nicht halten. Aber auch das wurde besser. Mittlerweile kann Franz wieder ganz normal aufs Kisterl gehen. Er ist sehr schüchtern und misstrauisch, ganz klar, nach all dem, was er durchmachen musste. Aber auch das wird schon besser. Jetzt ist er auf der Suche nach seiner Familie; dieses Streunerbaby, das so gekämpft hat, um das wir so gekämpft haben, sucht nun jemanden, der ihm und uns zeigt, dass es sich gelohnt hat. Mit viel Geduld, ohne Zwang, ihn einfach nur lieb hat und sich um ihn kümmert. Franz möchte unbedingt zu anderen Jungkatzen oder mit einer Katze aus seiner Gruppe in sein neues Zuhause ziehen.
