Frisco is a young dog who came to us through our partnership with Doggy Oasis International. Despite his young age, he has a past that has left its mark. For him, humans are not yet synonymous with kindness or safety. He is very fearful and contact is complicated: he needs time to come, without ever trying to force things. Frisco will need a particularly patient, gentle, and caring family, willing to respect his pace and teach him gradually that humans can also be a beautiful thing. Having another dog in the household will be essential for his development. Frisco is very sociable with his peers and functions a lot by mimicry. A balanced and well-adjusted companion can become a real reference for him and help him gain confidence. No aggression has been observed with cats. However, we will avoid young children, as sudden movements can quickly frighten him. His foster family has already done a wonderful job and Frisco has made huge progress. There is still a way to go, but every small step forward is a victory. Frisco is not looking for a family that will change him overnight, but a family that will accept to wait for him, understand him, and love him at his own pace. Behind his fear is a dog who is eager to discover another facet of life.

Frisco est un jeune chien arrivé chez nous grâce à notre partenariat avec Doggy Oasis International. Mais derrière son jeune âge se cache un passé qui lui a laissé des traces. Pour lui, l’humain n’est pas encore synonyme de douceur ou de sécurité. Il est très craintif et le contact reste compliqué : il faut lui laisser le temps de venir, sans jamais chercher à forcer les choses.Frisco aura besoin d’une famille particulièrement patiente, douce et bienveillante, prête à respecter son rythme et à lui apprendre progressivement que les humains peuvent aussi être une belle chose.Un autre chien dans le foyer sera primordial pour son évolution. Frisco est très sociable avec ses congénères et fonctionne beaucoup par mimétisme. Un copain équilibré et bien dans ses pattes pourra devenir un véritable repère pour lui et l’aider à prendre confiance.Avec les chats, aucune agressivité n’a été observée. En revanche, nous éviterons les enfants en bas âge, car les gestes brusques peuvent rapidement l’effrayer.Sa famille d’accueil a déjà réalisé un travail formidable et Frisco a fait d’énormes progrès. Il reste encore du chemin à parcourir, mais chaque petite avancée est une victoire.Frisco ne cherche pas une famille qui le changera du jour au lendemain, mais une famille qui acceptera de l’attendre, de le comprendre et de l’aimer à son rythme.Derrière sa peur se cache un chien qui ne demande qu’à découvrir une autre facette de la vie.
