In November 2023, George traveled to a foster home. Quickly, it integrated into the family and the existing pack, and learned the first steps of everyday life with its people. George is house-trained, rides in the car like a pro, stays alone at home for 2-3 hours, and is easily retrievable and very trainable in nature. In the evenings, he enjoys cuddle sessions with the foster parents on the couch. He has grown very close to his current foster family and they would like to offer him a forever home, but the living situation in the long term does not suit Georges needs. In the past months, George has developed into a magnificent, beautiful, and athletic fellow. Currently, he stands at a shoulder height of 65 cm and weighs around 28 kilos, and it looks like there might be a few more centimeters and kilos to come. George needs space and a quiet environment. His foster parents would like a house with a larger, well-fenced garden in a rural setting. Lots of traffic, a suddenly darting cat around the corner, or a neighbor who "just wants to pet him" are difficult for him, and here he should have the chance to be slowly introduced. A home without children is recommended, as George sometimes underestimates his size. George gets along very well with his doggy friends. George still has a lot to learn and wants to! He is in the middle of puberty, and chaos can still happen in his head. It is important to stand by young male dogs with love and a lot of patience. With an education based on positive reinforcement, the foundation for a good bond and deep trust is set. Respect, understanding, and care are especially important in this phase. George is ready for his move into his final home. He brings his EU pet passport. He is microchipped, vaccinated, and dewormed. George is not yet neutered. Seine Geschichte: George braucht Platz und viel Natur. Im November 2023 ist George in seine Pflegestelle gereist. Schnell hat es sich in die Familie und das Bestandsrudel integriert und dort die ersten Schritte im Alltag mit seinen Menschen gelernt. George ist stubenrein, fährt super Auto, bleibt schon 2-3 Stündchen allein daheim und ist in der Natur gut abrufbar und sehr gelehrig. Abends genießt er Kuscheleinheiten mit Pflegefrauchen auf der Couch. Er ist seiner aktuellen Pflegefamilie sehr ans Herz gewachsen und eigentlich würden sie ihm gern ein Für-Immer-Zuhause bieten, jedoch passt die Wohnsituation langfristig nicht zu Georges Bedürfnissen. George hat sich in den letzten Monaten zu einem prächtigen wunderschönen sportlichen Burschen entwickelt. Aktuell hat er eine Schulterhöhe von 65 cm und wiegt ca. 28 Kilo und es sieht so aus, dass hier noch ein paar Zentimeter und Kilo dazukommen. George benötigt Platz und ein ruhiges Umfeld. Ein Haus mit größerem gut eingezäuntem Garten in ländlicher Umgebung würden sich seine Pflegeeltern für ihn wünschen. Viel Verkehr, eine plötzlich um die Ecke schießende Katze oder ein Nachbar, der „nur mal streicheln will“ sind schwierig für ihn und hier sollte er die Chance haben langsam herangeführt zu werden. Ein Haushalt ohne Kinder ist zu empfehlen, da George seine Größe manchmal unterschätzt. Mit seinen Hundefreundinnen versteht sich George sehr gut. George muss noch viel lernen und das will er auch! Er ist mitten in der Pubertät und da kann noch einmal Chaos bei ihm im Kopf entstehen. Hier ist es wichtig, dem jungen Rüden mit Liebe und jeder Menge Geduld zur Seite zu stehen. Mit einer Erziehung, die auf positiver Verstärkung basiert setzt man den Grundstein für eine gute Bindung und tiefes Vertrauen. Respekt, Verständnis und Fürsorge sind in dieser Phase besonders wichtig. George ist für seinen Umzug in sein endgültiges Zuhause bereit. Er bringt seinen EU-Heimtierausweis mit. Er ist gechipt, geimpft und entwurmt. George ist noch nicht kastriert. Gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 500 Euro kann George in sein neues Leben starten. Vielen Dank Sarah!
