Insomnia was wandering alone in the plots when our volunteer noticed her - that's how she came to us. Although Insomnia looks young and behaves normally, unfortunately she is suffering from serious health problems. She has a large dental stone, recurring anemia, kidney failure, high blood pressure (probably secondary to the kidneys) and a sick thyroid. For now we have to hold off on dental treatment, because her results are not very good and we can't anesthetize her. This does not diminish her will to live! Insomnia doesn't like visits to the veterinarian, but in daily life she is a sociable and loving cat who wants to be close to people. It is important that she continues treatment - she must take medication and visit the veterinarian every about 3 weeks to monitor her condition. The cat tolerates other cats and had no problems with dogs in the shelter. FIV and FeLV tests are negative, and her blood tests are up to date. She is spayed. She is staying in a foster home and is looking for a permanent home.

Insomnia błąkała się samotnie po działkach, kiedy zauważyła ją nasza wolontariuszka -tak trafiła do nas. Choć Insomnia wygląda młodo i zachowuje się normalnie, niestety zmaga się z poważnymi problemami zdrowotnymi. Ma ogromny kamień nazębny, nawracającą anemię,niewydolność nerek, nadciśnienie (prawdopodobnie wtórne od nerek) i chorą tarczycę. Na razie musimy wstrzymać się z leczeniem zębów, ponieważ jej wyniki są niezbyt dobre i nie możemy jej znieczulać. To jednak nie umniejsza jej chęci do życia! Insomnia nie przepada za wizytami u weterynarzy, ale w codziennym życiu jest towarzyską i kochającą kotką, która pragnie być blisko ludzi. Ważne jest, aby kontynuowała leczenie – musi brać leki i regularnie odwiedzać weterynarza co około 3 tygodnie w celu monitorowania jej stanu. Kotka toleruje inne koty i w azylu nie miała problemu z psami. Testy FIV i FeLV są ujemne, a jej badania krwi są aktualne. Jest odrobaczona. Przebywa w domu tymczasowym i szuka domu stałego.
