Khaya is a gentle and affectionate dog who enjoys human company. She may need a little time to adjust to fully open up. She will need a patient and caring family who will give her time to settle in and build a trusting relationship. Some work remains to be done around her coping with solitude. She will need to be gradually helped in learning to cope with absences, with kindness and patience.

Khaya est une chienne douce et affectueuse qui apprécie beaucoup la présence de l’humain. Elle peut avoir besoin d’un petit temps d’adaptation pour se dévoiler pleinement. Elle aura besoin d’une famille patiente et bienveillante, qui lui laissera le temps de prendre ses repères et de créer une relation de confiance. Un travail reste à faire autour de la solitude. Il faudra donc l’accompagner progressivement dans l’apprentissage des absences, avec douceur et patience.
