I want to explore the world—everything is exciting and wonderful. I can’t get enough of it and would love to play all day long. There’s still so much for me to learn. Will you support me? Shar-Pei-mix female, approximately 2 years old, is looking for her forever home. This lovely Shar-Pei-mix female came to our shelter as a stray. Unfortunately, her owner never got in touch, so now she’s searching for a loving and suitable home. At first, she appears uncertain and reserved around strangers. However, if given enough time, she warms up and builds trust. Due to her past experiences, she still has quite a bit to learn and sometimes shows a bit of distance when interacting with people. Therefore, her new owners should enjoy continuing to work with her and providing her with clear structures. As is typical for her breed, she has an independent character and can be quite stubborn. Anyone with Shar-Pei experience or who appreciates her special qualities will find her to be an interesting companion. We’d prefer to place our dog in a single-dog household. Living together with a confident male dog is possible, depending on mutual compatibility. Other animals, especially cats, shouldn’t live in the same household. Children in the new home should already be older and familiar with respectful interactions with dogs, as she tends to react uncertainly to unfamiliar situations at first. Kleine Kinder sollten ebenfalls nicht im Haushalt leben – ältere, hundeerfahrene Kinder sind hingegen gut vorstellbar.
