Koku - small dog with a big life. Koku is the smallest of the three siblings. But with 37 cm shoulder height and 16 kg, he is the best proof that joy of life and personality have nothing to do with centimeters. Koku, along with his brother Maru and sister Kara, was left at the entrance of the animal shelter on November 15, 2025. The three were clean, well-fed and friendly - much suggests that they were born in a home or on a property and knew human proximity from the beginning. We do not know why their common path ended there suddenly. But for Koku, this should not be the most important chapter of his story. Of course, we do not know Koku's birthday exactly. When he was found with his siblings, his age could be estimated fairly well based on his development and dental status. That is why we have set September 1, 2025 as an approximate birth date. Today Koku is a young dog who still has so much ahead of him. Discover the world, learn, play, fool around, get to know new things - and eventually go to bed in the evening where he really belongs. Maybe Koku is the compact gentleman in the trio. His wishes are still quite big: his own people, his own home and a whole dog life that is still ahead of him. Ab 26.09.2026 auf Pflegestelle in Aarbergen KOKU – kleiner Mann, großes Hundeleben Koku ist der Kleinste im Geschwistertrio. Aber mit 37 cm Schulterhöhe und 16 kg ist er der beste Beweis dafür, dass Lebensfreude und Persönlichkeit überhaupt nichts mit Zentimetern zu tun haben. Gemeinsam mit seinem Bruder Maru und seiner Schwester Kara wurde Koku am 15. November 2025 am Eingang des Tierheims zurückgelassen. Die drei waren sauber, wohlgenährt und freundlich – vieles spricht dafür, dass sie in einem Zuhause oder auf einem Grundstück geboren wurden und die Nähe zu Menschen von Anfang an kannten. Warum ihr gemeinsamer Weg dort plötzlich endete, wissen wir nicht. Für Koku soll das aber auch gar nicht das wichtigste Kapitel seiner Geschichte bleiben. Natürlich kennen wir den Geburtstag von Koku nicht auf den Tag genau. Als er mit seinen Geschwistern gefunden wurde, ließ sich sein Alter anhand seiner Entwicklung und seines Zahnstatus jedoch recht gut einschätzen. Deshalb haben wir den 01.09.2025 als ungefähres Geburtsdatum festgelegt. Heute ist Koku ein junger Hund, der noch so viel vor sich hat. Die Welt entdecken, lernen, spielen, herumalbern, Neues kennenlernen – und irgendwann abends zufrieden dort einschlafen, wo er wirklich hingehört. Vielleicht ist Koku der kompakte Herr im Trio Infernale. Seine Wünsche sind trotzdem ziemlich groß: eigene Menschen, ein eigenes Zuhause und ein ganzes Hundeleben, das noch vor ihm liegt.
