Support and Health How much training will I need? Needs ongoing support Can I be left alone? Potentially, once settled Maddie has been left home alone previously for a few hours and was settled. Maddie will need her home alone building up slowly, once she has settled into her new home. Do I have any medical conditions? Existing conditions Maddie has some medical conditions, that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome them and you are a successful match. We would also advise that any medical conditions, be that historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking them home. Due to the nature of the medical condition, a vet call with one of our onsite vets will be required before the pet goes home. Who I can live with Can I live with dogs? No Can I live with cats? No Can I live with small pets? Yes, conditionally - Maddie could live with securely housed small pets that she does not have access to. Additional information Maddie might enjoy having some walking friends but would be best suited as the only dog in the home. Maddie is friendly with other dogs but she does have a fairly independant streak, Maddie will typically have a sniff and then go off to do her own thing. Family and environment What kind of family am I looking for? Maddie needs an adult only home as she does have some sensitivities over handling and gets overstimulated easily, so will need a patient home with people who are prepared to continue with her training at her pace. What type of environment would suit me? A garden with grass is essential for Maddie in her new home as she will only go to the toilet on grass and she absolutely loves being in the garden . Some of her training is also much easier to do outside than inside the home. About Maddie Maddie is an affectionate soul who’s happiest when she’s close to her people. She loves nothing more than curling up on the sofa for snoozes, listening to your voice, and taking leisurely strolls in the fresh air. This lady is wonderfully social, she greets everyone with a wag and has been polite with other dogs on a walk. Maddie would suit a calm, loving home where she can enjoy companionship and a steady routine. She has found the recent changes in her life quite stressful and is looking for an understanding, patient adult only home where she can learn to feel settled again.
