Mariposa, which means "butterfly" in Spanish – and it fits her perfectly: she is simply a charming little puppy! A wild, scruffy, black-and-white butterfly of a kind that you won't find anywhere else in the world. Mariposa is about 6 months old and is the only one of five siblings still in the shelter. And we can't explain that either! Our little butterfly is gentle and friendly. Mariposa may take a moment to observe new situations, but then she quickly warms up. And her playful, cheerful side is becoming more and more evident. With her soft, black-and-white fur and her loyal, inquisitive gaze, she has already won the hearts of everyone at the shelter. She loves playing with other dogs and now also enjoys human affection. Due to her appearance, we can't rule out the possibility of her having guardian or herding dog genes. Mariposa was found together with her mother and four siblings in an abandoned sheep shed. They were neglected and half-starved, left behind by a shepherd. For Mariposa, we wish for a loving home where she can settle in peace and gradually discover the world, preferably with the attendance of a dog training class that works with positive reinforcement. We are looking for a rural home and people who will welcome her with calmness and empathy, without expecting anything from her at first. Mariposa travels microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated with an EU pet passport after a positive home check. Mariposa, was auf Spanisch „Schmetterling“ heißt – und das passt ziemlich gut zu ihr: sie ist einfach ein bezauberndes kleines Hundemädchen! Ein wilder kleiner strubbeliger schwarz-weißer Schmetterling der besonderen Art, den man sonst nirgendwo auf der Welt findet. Mariposa ist etwa 6 Monate jung und ist die einzige von 5 Geschwistern, die noch im Shelter sitzt. Und das können wir uns gar nicht erklären! Unser kleiner Schmetterling ist sanft und freundlich. Mariposa schaut sich neue Situationen zwar erstmal in Ruhe an, taut dann aber schnell auf. Und immer öfter kommt ihre verspielte, fröhliche Seite zum Vorschein. Mit ihrem kuschelweichen, schwarz-weißen Fell und dem treuen, neugierigen Blick wickelt sie im Shelter schon alle um die Pfote. Sie liebt es, mit anderen Hunden zu toben, genießt aber mittlerweile auch menschliche Zuwendung immer mehr. Aufgrund ihrer Optik können wir Hüte- oder Herdenschutzhundgene nicht ausschließen. Mariposa wurde gemeinsam mit ihrer Mutter und 4 Geschwistern in einem verlassenen Schafstall gefunden. Dort waren sie verwahrlost und halb verhungert von einem Schäfer zurückgelassen worden. Für Mariposa wünschen wir uns ein liebevolles Zuhause, in dem sie in Ruhe ankommen darf und die Welt Schritt für Schritt entdecken kann, gerne verbunden mit dem Besuch einer mit positiven Verstärkung arbeitenden Hundeschule. Wir suchen für die so besondere Wuschelhündin ein ländliches Zuhause und Menschen, die sie mit Ruhe und Empathie ankommen lassen und erstmal nichts von ihr erwarten. Mariposa reist gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht mit EU-Heimtierausweis nach positiver Vorkontrolle gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 500 Euro in ihr neues Zuhause. Also, falls du eine wuschelige Begleiterin mit großem Herz und viel Abenteuerlust suchst und dich in unser Schmetterlingsmädchen verliebt hast, melde dich gerne und schon bald könnte sie zu dir flattern.
