Mawi came to us from a rural area, and finding herself in our large shelter is a real ordeal for her. Mawi is afraid to leave her kennel, afraid of leashes, loud noises, and even us. So far, she hasn’t bonded with any of the other dogs in the outdoor run either, because she’s so overwhelmed by everything going on around her that she simply can’t cope. By nature, Mawi is a gentle dog, but she’s also afraid of human touch. We’re giving her time, but we know this sweet girl urgently needs to find herself in a calm, quiet place—a cozy home environment with a bit of garden space at her disposal. Mawi needs a rescuer—someone who’ll take her under their roof with the hope that things will get better for her. Here at the shelter, it’s possible that things may never get better. Mawi przyjechała do nas z terenów wiejskich i znalezienie się w naszym wielkim schronisku jest dla niej wielkim dramatem. Mawi boi się wychodzić z boksu, boi się smyczy, hałasu i nas. Póki co również nie zaprzyjaźniła się z innymi psami na wybiegu ponieważ jest na tyle zestresowana wszystkim co się wokół dzieje, że zupełnie nie potrafi się odnaleźć. Mawi jest z natury łagodną sunią, ale boi się także dotyku ludzkich rąk. Dajemy jej czas, ale wiemy, że ta suczka pilnie powinna znaleźć się w spokojnym cichym miejscu, w domowym zaciszu, z kawałkiem ogrodu do dyspozycji.
