Hi, I’m Miep and I’m two years old. I was brought here because my owner got sick and the care became too much for them to handle. We both thought that was a real shame. But I’ve heard that through the shelter, I’ll find a lovely new home—great news! What am I looking for? Well, I love being active and staying busy. I really enjoy playing with my owner, and I’m pretty good at it too. I’ll happily chase after a ball or a string and have a wonderful time doing so. When I get tired, I’ll sit down next to my owner on the couch and relax. I can easily keep this up for more than an hour—after all, rest is important for a cat, too. Then, of course, I’ll be back out there looking for some action again, eager to see what exciting things are still in store for me. If we have visitors, I love that and stay right by their side. And I make sure to get a nice petting on the head while they’re around. In short: I’m a friendly young girl who brings lots of joy and laughter into the home.

Hoi, ik ben Miep en ik ben twee jaar oud. Ik ben hier gebracht omdat mijn baasje ziek is geworden en de verzorging werd te zwaar. Vonden we alle twee wel jammer. Maar ik heb gehoord dat ik via het asiel een heel fijn nieuw thuis zal vinden, dat is goed nieuws! Wat ik zoek? Ik hou wel van actie en blijf graag bezig. Samen spelen met de baas vind ik erg leuk en ik ben er ook erg goed in. Ren wild achter een balletje of touwtje aan en vermaak me dan prima. Als ik moe word ga ik naast de baas zitten relaxen op de bank. Dit kan ik makkelijk meer dan een uur volhouden, rust is natuurlijk ook belangrijk voor een kat. Daarna ga ik natuurlijk weer op zoek naar actie en ben benieuwd wat ik allemaal nog ga beleven. Als er bezoek komt vind ik dat wel leuk en blijf erbij. Ook zorg ik er voor dat ik dan een aai over mijn bol krijg. Kortom: ik ben een gezellige jonge meid en zorg voor vrolijkheid in huis.
