Monti and Mini came to us as surrender cats because they didn't get along well with other cats. Since the two have grown up together and share a close bond, we would like to place them in a new home only together. Monti is a typical British Shorthair tomcat: affectionate, cuddly, and thoroughly enjoys being close to his people. Mini, on the other hand, is initially much more reserved and prefers to observe new situations from a safe distance. She needs time to build trust and decides for herself when she wants to initiate contact. Anyone who gives her this time and doesn't expect anything from her will gradually earn her trust. As both are British Shorthairs, we'd like to find them a home with people who are familiar with the breed's characteristic traits. Like many British Shorthairs, they may also be predisposed to certain health conditions, such as heart disease or joint problems. Regular veterinary check-ups and an appropriately tailored diet are therefore particularly important. Since both have difficulty getting along with other cats, Monti and Mini are looking for a quiet home together, one that doesn't already include other feline companions.

Monti ist ein typischer Britisch-Kurzhaar-Kater: zutraulich, verschmust und genießt die Nähe zu seinen Menschen. Mini ist anfangs deutlich zurückhaltender und beobachtet neue Situationen lieber erst einmal aus sicherer Entfernung. Sie braucht Zeit, um Vertrauen zu fassen, und entscheidet selbst, wann sie Kontakt aufnehmen möchte. Wer ihr diese Zeit gibt und nichts von ihr erwartet, wird ihr Vertrauen nach und nach gewinnen. Da es sich bei beiden um Britisch Kurzhaar handelt, wünschen wir uns ein Zuhause bei Menschen, die sich mit den rassetypischen Besonderheiten auseinandersetzen. Wie viele BKH können auch sie eine Veranlagung für bestimmte gesundheitliche Erkrankungen, wie beispielsweise Herzerkrankungen oder Gelenkprobleme, mitbringen. Regelmäßige tierärztliche Vorsorge und eine angepasste Ernährung sind daher besonders wichtig. Da sich beide mit anderen Katzen schwertun, suchen Monti und Mini gemeinsam ein ruhiges Zuhause ohne weitere Samtpfoten.
