Am văzut în sfârșit zâmbetul ei și unele semne de încredere. Myrto participă la programul educațional din închisoarea pentru femei din Thebes, unde unele închisorite, cu ajutorul echilibrului antrenorului Vassilis Bokaris, învață să antreneze câțiva dintre câinii noștri care trăiesc acolo, și să le ofere instrumentele pentru a se adapta mai ușor la casa lor definitivă. Myrto a făcut pași mari recent, iar suntem foarte mândri de ea. Merge foarte bine la cătă, a învățat să facă toaleta pe drum, s-a deschis destul de mult și nu mai se ascunde atunci când vede străinii, ci încearcă să comunice, iar treptat a început să primească unele alintări. A început să aibă un reset bun și când aude numele ei vine, și a învățat prima sa comandă, stai! Toate acestea pot părea simple, dar pentru un câine ca al ei este un pas mare. I-am adus un pui de câine din cătufla municipală din Tripoli. Era un bebeluș foarte fricos și a rămas hotărâtă și foarte închisă în adăpost. Niciunde nu părea să se simtă confortabil și niciodată nu era calmă în prezența oamenilor aproape de ea. Acum este pe un traseu extrem de bun, iar adaptarea la o casă definitivă va fi mult mai ușoară. Cu fundațiile bune pe care le are acum, va putea triumfa în noua sa casă cu timpul, deoarece a învățat deja moduri de a comunica cu oamenii, știe lucruri de bază și a început să învețe cum să comunice cu persoana pe care o încredințează fără a imita alte câini din jurul ei. În câteva momente în care este relaxată, alergă ca un venin, și ne putem imagina câte lucruri ar fi apreciat deja dacă viața ei nu ar fi început atât de greșit. Dar este foarte tânără, iar i se oferă tot restul vieții pentru a reuși. Noua ei familie va avea toată ajutorul și sfaturile necesare de la noi.

We finally saw her smile and some signs of confidence in her. Myrto participates in the educational program in the rural women's prison of Thebes, where some prisoners, with the help of the trainer Vassilis Bokaris 's balance, learn to train some of our dogs that live there, and to give them the tools to adapt to their forever home much easier. Myrto has made leaps and bounds lately, and we are very proud of her. She walks very well on a leash, she has learned to toilet on her walk, she has opened up quite a bit and no longer hides when she sees strangers, but she tries to communicate, and slowly she has started to receive some caresses. She has started to have a good reset and when she hears her name she comes, and she learned her first command, sit down! All of this may seem simple, but for a dog like her, it's a huge step. We brought her a puppy from the municipal kennel of Tripolis. She was a very phobic baby, and she remained hesitant and very closed in the shelter. Nowhere did she seem to feel comfortable and she was never calm with the presence of people close to her. It is now on an extremely good track, and adapting it to a forever home will be much easier. With the very good foundations she now has, she will be able to triumph in her new home over time, since she has now acquired ways of communicating with people, knows basic things and has begun to learn how to communicate with the person she trusts without having to imitate other dogs around her. The few times she's carefree she runs like a deer, and we can imagine how many things she would have enjoyed already if her life hadn't started so wrong. But she is very young, and she has her whole life ahead of her to triumph. Her new family will have all the help and advice she needs from us.
