Nadia was abandoned in a trash can—her owners no longer wanted her. She’s old and has poor eyesight. The abandonment of senior dogs is the cruelest form of neglect we see amid all the other cases of abandonment. A kind person took her in and placed her in a local animal shelter, but she couldn’t stay there because the shelter houses very large dogs, and this little lady wasn’t suited for such an environment. They asked us for help, and now she’s come to Alba, where she’s waiting in a puppy room, safely protected. She’s quite grumpy at the moment, but with gentle care and lots of love, she’ll surely soon calm down. We’re looking for a foster home or permanent adoption so that she can spend the few years she has left in peace, loved, and in a warm little bed. Leishmaniasis test is negative. All four Idexx tests (for ehrlichia, filaria, anaplasma, and borrelia) are also negative. Show more of her story Show less

Nadia fue abandonada en un pipi-can, sus dueños ya no la querían, es vieja y tiene poca vista. El abandono de perritos mayores, es lo más cruel que vemos ente tanto abandono. La recogió una buena persona e ingresó en una prote de la zona, pero allí no podía quedarse ya que tienen perros muy grandes y no era lugar para esta miniaturaNos pidieron ayuda y ha venido a Alba donde espera en una habitación de cachorreras, donde está protegida. Está bastante enfadada, pero con buen trato y mucho cariño, seguro que pronto se le pasa. Buscamos acogida o adopción para que pase los pocos años que le quedan, tranquila, querida y con una camita caliente. Analítica de leishmania negativa.
