She needs a very quiet place without stress and surprises, and without anyone rearranging her space. During a trial placement, the existing cat did not work out, but Mimi was friendly. However, in a room with several other cats, she did not feel comfortable at all. We think that a single princess-like spot would be very good for her, maybe with another cat who is completely neutral, friendly, and unobtrusive. However, Mimi must also tolerate her. Mimi is a cat with her own character, clingy, and in need of cuddles, and she tells her person so. She also likes to play, but she also shows when something doesn't suit her. "Ruhige Durchsetzungskraft" 😉 is an important trait in dealing with her, so she doesn't "tanze auf der Nase rum", but also doesn't react in a startled manner. Mimilein needs urinary (special food for the urinary tract) and should therefore not be allowed to eat elsewhere, so she is not suitable as an outdoor cat. We wish so much that Mimi gets the love, patience, and affection she deserves. She should finally be able to look out of a window where she no longer just sees the animal shelter grounds from above. Auf einer Probevermittlung klappte es seitens des vorhandenen Katers nicht, sie selbst war lieb. In einem Zimmer bei uns mit mehreren anderen Katzen fühlte sie sich allerdings gar nicht wohl. Wir denken, insgesamt wäre ein Einzelprinzessinnenplatz sehr gut für sie, maximal vielleicht noch eine Katze, die völlig neutral, lieb und unaufdringlich ist. Allerdings muss Mimi sie ja auch tolerieren. Mimi ist eine Katze mit eigenem Charakter, die anhänglich und schmusebedürftig ist und ihrem Menschen das auch erzählt. Sie spielt auch mal, zeigt aber auch, wenn ihr was nicht passt. „Ruhige Durchsetzungskraft“ 😉 ist im Umgang mit ihr eine wichtige Eigenschaft, damit sie einem „nicht auf der Nase rumtanzt“, aber auch nicht verstört reagiert. Mimilein braucht Urinary (ein Spezialfutter für die Gesundheit des Harnwegs) und sollte daher nicht woanders fressen gehen, sie ist also nicht als Freigänger geeignet. Wir wünschen uns so sehr, dass Mimi die Liebe, Geduld und Zuwendung bekommt, die sie verdient.
