Oggy arrived at our shelter after being abandoned. He experienced life in a foster home, followed by a sudden loss of his familiar surroundings. This upheaval deeply affected him, making him particularly sensitive to changes. Today, in safety, Oggy needs time to understand that humans can also be a source of stability and gentleness. Oggy is a reserved cat who observes a lot before sharing his trust. Behind this caution lies a delicate and touching cat who moves at his own pace. He is not yet seeking spontaneous contact but tolerates human presence and progresses slowly when he feels secure. The presence of a fellow animal of the same species that is comfortable with humans helps to reassure and evolve him. Oggy still needs time to build trust. He is not ready for a traditional adoption but can join his future family through an accompanied adoption. This step corresponds to an initial phase of welcoming in their future home to build a gentle bond before the adoption. It allows him to adapt to his new home in peace, with the support of the association. If the environment suits him and a bond is formed, the adoption is then confirmed naturally. Oggy will need a calm home with patient, gentle, and respectful adopters of his rhythm. A first adoption will not be suitable for him because he requires a good understanding of feline behavior. He must live with another well-adjusted cat or be adopted with his brother Oneil, with whom he shares a reassuring bond. A safe environment and respectful teenagers could suit him. Oggy est arrivé à l’association suite à un abandon. Il a connu la vie en foyer, puis la perte brutale de ses repères. Ce bouleversement l’a profondément marqué et l’a rendu particulièrement sensible face aux changements. Aujourd’hui en sécurité, Oggy a besoin de temps pour comprendre que l’humain peut aussi être synonyme de stabilité et de douceur. Oggy est un chat réservé, qui observe beaucoup avant d’accorder sa confiance. Derrière cette prudence se cache un chat délicat et touchant, qui avance à son rythme. Il ne cherche pas encore spontanément le contact, mais il tolère la présence humaine et progresse doucement lorsqu’il se sent en sécurité. La présence d’un congénère à l’aise avec l’humain l’aide à se rassurer et à évoluer. Oggy a encore besoin de temps pour prendre confiance. Il n’est pas prêt à partir en adoption classique, mais peut rejoindre sa future famille dans le cadre d’une adoption accompagnée. Cette étape correspond à une phase d’accueil dans leur futur foyer pour construire un lien en douceur avant l’adoption. Elle lui permet de s’adapter à son nouveau foyer en toute sérénité, avec le soutien de l’association. Si l’environnement lui convient et qu’un lien se crée, l’adoption est alors confirmée naturellement. Oggy aura besoin d’un foyer calme, avec des adoptants patients, doux et respectueux de son rythme. Une première adoption ne sera pas adaptée pour lui, car il nécessite une bonne compréhension du comportement félin.
