This cheerful young fellow we've named Otis. We think he's around 2 years old, but we're not sure. Otis was found on the street and we don't know where he came from or what he's been through. Anyway, he's young and full of the restless and enthusiastic energy that comes with it: Otis is affectionate, sweet, cheerful, curious and playful. He probably wandered the streets for a while and had to fend for himself with what he found on the street to eat. He was extremely thin and had extreme hunger. After a while with us and lots of tasty treats, the extreme hunger is gone, he has gained a lot of weight and his fur is beautiful on his shoulders. Otis is still very food-obsessed, and that's a point of attention for whoever takes this handsome guy in. Over time, he will probably learn that there is always enough food and become calmer, until then a closed kitchen and a sturdy feeder are a good way to keep Otis' appetite in check. For that reason, we don't really think he's a family cat for now, despite being very sweet and loving. Finally, it's important that he can go outside in the long run, he will definitely make sure there is food at home! Are you in the mood for some cheerfulness and coziness in the house? Deze vrolijke jonge kerel hebben we Otis genoemd. We denken dat hij een jaar of 2 is, maar zeker weten doen we het niet. Otis is op straat gevonden en waar hij vandaan komt en wat hij heeft meegemaakt, weten we niet. Hoe dan ook is hij jong en zit vol met de onstuimige en enthousiaste energie die daarbij hoort: Otis is aanhankelijk, lief, vrolijk, nieuwsgierig en speels. Waarschijnlijk heeft hij wel een tijdje op straat gezworven en heeft hij zichzelf moeten redden met wat hij op straat vond aan eten. Hij was ontzettend mager en had extreem veel honger. Na een tijdje bij ons en veel lekkere hapjes is de extreme honger weg, is hij een stuk aangekomen en zit zijn vacht hem prachtig om de schouders. Otis is nog wel steeds erg met eten bezig, en dat is een aandachtspuntje voor wie deze knapperd in huis neemt. In de loop van de tijd zal hij vast leren dat er altijd voldoende eten is en wat rustiger worden, tot dat moment zijn een afgesloten keuken en een stevig voerspel een goede manier om Otis’ eetlust in goede banen te leiden. Om die reden vinden we hem voor nu niet echt een gezinskat, ondanks dat hij erg lief is en dol op gezelligheid. Tot slot is het belangrijk dat hij lekker naar buiten kan op termijn, hij zal zeker zorgen voor het eten thuis te zijn! Heeft u wel zin in wat vrolijkheid en gezelligheid in huis?
