After Pauli had already been with us several times before, it was said after his last stay due to straying: could you keep him, he’s no longer a buck. Well, what are we supposed to say – better nothing at all. In the meantime, Pauli has been checked, his testicles have been removed, and he is currently a popular walking companion for people of all ages. A small irregularity with his pancreas has shown up in his blood test, so he now gets preventive diet food. Due to his age, an ground-floor home is preferred, and a garden would be great. Sometimes we think his hearing is getting a bit faint. It could also be that he barks more as a form of "showing off," and a certain amount of indifference suits the little fellow just fine. Pauli is suitable as a great family dog, knows house life, is a good passenger, is leash-friendly, cuddly, and a model patient. Being alone is not one of his favorites; at the beginning, he will protest with a little chirp until he calms down. He just loves to be right in the middle and with his people. Who would like to help Pauli forget the disappointment that befell him and give him a comfortable retirement? He deserves it, to finally receive a reliable "Forever Home" as a gift…. Walks well on a leash.

Nachdem Pauli schon oft bei uns zu Gast war, wurde nach seinem letzten Aufenthalt nach dem Streunen zu uns gesagt: könnt ihr behalten, kein Bock mehr. Tja, was sollen wir dazu sagen – bestenfalls lieber nix. Inzwischen ist Pauli durchgecheckt, seine Umfangsvermehrungen entfernt und er ist aktuell ein gefragter Gassihund bei Zweibeinern jeden Alters. Eine kleine Unregelmäßigkeit mit der Bauchspeicheldrüse hat sein Blutbild ergeben, seit dem bekommt er vorsorglich Diätfutter. Auf Grund seines Alters wird ein ebenerdiges Zuhause bevorzugt, ein Garten wäre klasse. Manchmal glauben wir, sein Gehör wird langsam leise. Es könnte aber auch sein, dass er Ansagen eher als „Schaumermal“ betrachtet, eine gewisse Ignoranz steht dem Männlein ja auch gut. Pauli ist als toller Familienhund geeignet, kennt das Leben im Haus, ist ein braver Beifahrer, ist leinenführig, verschmust und ein vorbildlicher Patient. Das Alleinbleiben zählt nicht zu seinen Favoriten, da wird zu Beginn ein Protestlied gezwitschert bis er sich beruhigt. Am liebsten ist er eben immer mittendrin und bei seinen Menschen. Wer möchte Pauli die große Enttäuschung, die ihm widerfahren ist, vergessen lassen und ihm ein enspanntes Rentnerleben ermöglichen? Er hätte es so verdient, endlich ein zuverlässiges „Für Immer Zuhause“ geschenkt zu bekommen…
