My story begins at a woman's house where there were many dogs in addition to me. We dogs roamed freely in the yard and feared people because we were not used to them. The shelter staff and the association team had visited the house several times before the owner of the dogs agreed to cooperate. Finally, from the woman's house, in the Birža area, the team took all 16 dogs, most of which were puppies. I was one of them, roughly one year old. I came to the shelter where I am now together with three other dogs from the same yard. Due to my background, I have not had much experience with people in my life, which is why I long for a home where I am given time to get used to being a pet dog and to learn to trust. A lively and friendly dog friend in my new home would definitely be a great support and security for me. Although I am shy, I quickly get attached to people I know who treat me well.
