Pixie is a 12‑year‑old chihuahua enjoying life in her foster home. She loves nothing more than curling up on her fosterer’s knee or snoozing happily on the sofa. Short, gentle potters are her favourite kind of outing, and she travels calmly and comfortably in the car. Pixie would be content living with secondary‑school‑aged children. She can be vocal towards dogs on walks, though there are times she simply ignores them so she would be happiest as the only dog in the home. She isn’t suited to living with cats, but she could share a home with small pets if kept separate. A calm environment would help her feel secure and allow her to enjoy the cosy companionship she loves.
