Шевченківський район. Поль сором’язливий, трєпєтний котусик і в нього майже немає шансів стати домашнім. Котусик ховається в ящичку і в самому куточку кліточки, бо вже пережив зраду після чого опинився в клітці притулку. Яку він, до речі, неймовірно боїться. Хлопчик живе в пекельному моральному стані, бо йому страшно, як востаннє. Щодня він ховається в своїх схованках по кліточці і плаче від страху. Не розуміє, як складеться його доля і що його чекає у майбутньому. Скільки горя і біди зазнало вже це кото-дитя… Чи так буде продовжуватись вічність? Чи притулок вирок тепер для нього? Стільки питань і жодної відповіді. Життя Поля суцільна мука і стрес. Якщо ніхто не візьме додому, то скоріше за все його чекає вулиця... Життя в нього тільки почалося, а скільки вже в ньому біди… Хлопчику 1 рік, він кастрований, оброблений від блох і глистів, вакцинований, з лоточком на ти.
