Rex is a young lad with a lot of energy, so he’ll need plenty of exercise and enrichment to keep his brain and body busy. This smart boy is fully housetrained and walks well on the lead. He is a bit scared of getting in the car, so he’ll need a family who is happy to continue working on this with him. Rex loves going on long sniffy adventures, preferably in quieter environments whilst he finds his feet. He gets on well with other dogs whilst he’s out and about, and he will politely say hello to new human friends too. Rex is such an affectionate boy who loves a fuss and a cuddle – we can’t wait to see him thriving in his perfect home! Say hello to Rex, our gorgeous 1-year-old Huntaway X! Rex is looking for a lovely family who can show him the world isn’t a scary place. He’s a worried boy who can be spooked by sudden noises, but with some patient and gentle reassurance, he soon realises that he’s safe. Rex has been known to get quite distressed when his humans go to leave the room, so for this reason we feel his perfect home would be with sensible teenagers and above. He could live with another dog pending a successful meet here at the centre, and in fact it may help Rex’s confidence to have a doggy friend to show him the ropes! Rex isn’t used to being left by himself, so he’ll need a home where somebody is there most of the time and can build up any time by himself very slowly. Rex has so much love to give and we know he’ll make a wonderful addition to his forever family!
