That’s why we’re now looking for a new home for Rico. Rico is an old acquaintance of ours. In 2024, he was brought to us as a stray. He was very happy with the home he had at the time. Unfortunately, he’s now back at our animal shelter. We sincerely hope that he’ll soon find a new, loving home—because he truly deserves it after everything he’s been through. Rico is about 7.5 years old. He’s an incredibly sweet and friendly tomcat, though somewhat shy—at least at first. He’s looking for a quiet new home where he can gradually adjust to his new surroundings at his own pace. Rico can sometimes be quite dominant toward other cats, as well as toward dogs. Therefore, he’s best suited to a home without any other pets. And of course, Rico would love to go outside eventually. He really enjoys being outdoors—especially when the sun is shining. We won’t place Rico in Kapelle or Nieuw en Sint Joosland.

Vandaar dat wij nu een nieuw thuis zoeken voor Rico. Rico is een oude bekende van ons. In 2024 is hij als zwerver bij ons binnengebracht. Hij was erg blij met zijn thuis dat hij toen kreeg. Helaas is hij nu dus terug in ons dierenasiel. We hopen dan ook dat hij heel spoedig een nieuw en liefdevol thuis vindt, want dat verdient hij enorm na alles wat hij al heeft meegemaakt. Rico is ongeveer 7,5 jaar. Het is een ontzettend leuke en lieve kater, maar wel wat verlegen (zeker in het begin). Hij zoekt een rustig nieuw thuis waar hij op zijn eigen tempo kan wennen aan zijn nieuwe omgeving. Rico is soms erg dominant naar andere katten, maar ook naar honden. Hij zoekt dus een thuis zonder andere huisdieren. En uiteraard gaat Rico op termijn graag even naar buiten. Buiten zijn vindt hij namelijk erg fijn en zeker als de zon schijnt. We plaatsen Rico niet in Kapelle of Nieuw en Sint Joosland.
